Hemisphere Conference Centre and Hemisphere HOTEL together form one of the largest specialised conference, meeting and training venues in the south-east region of Melbourne. Hemisphere is located only 18 kilometres south of the Melbourne CBD and 38 kilometres from the Melbourne International Airport.

Hemisphere was formerly named the Edmund Barton Centre. The Centre originally opened on 16 June 1993. Hemisphere has established an excellent reputation, especially for servicing the conference and event needs of the corporate and government sectors. Hemisphere is a business unit of Holmesglen Institute of TAFE. Holmesglen is one of Australia’s largest and most successful providers of vocational education and training, with more than 50,000 students and three major campuses in Melbourne.
